Electric Charging Points

(the Broads Authorities 'Electric Eel' at How Hill Staithe, River Ant)

The Broads Authority has doubled the number of electric charging points throughout the northern
and southern rivers, and encourages this clean, quiet method of propulsion.

Electric charging points can be found at Stalham, Hickling, Potter Heigham, Ludham Bridge,
Coltishall, Hoveton, Horning, Ranworth, Stokesby, Gt Yarmouth Yacht Station, Burgh Castle,
St Olaves, Reedham, Loddon, Rockland Staithe, Bramerton and Norwich Yacht Station.

The charging pillars are operated by a £1 payment card which can be bought from 20 outlets
throughout the Broads.

A leaflet with maps locating the charging points and listing the card outlets is available from
the BA’s head office at 2 Gilders Way, Norwich (Tel: 01603 610734), its information centres (see
page 35), and from outlets selling the cards.
