Various circumstances have combined to make it difficult for boatyards to supply petrol at the waterside. Consequently boatowners with petrol engines may need to source roadside petrol stations. Here are some suggestions, some of which are further than others from a mooring place:

Southern rivers:
Beccles	Morrisons on Beccles by-pass at George Westwood Way
Oulton Broad	near Oulton Broad North railway station; also Tesco on Beccles Road
Somerleyton	by Post Office in village (08.00-17.30)
Brundall Gardens	A47 roundabout
Norwich	Jet station on Rose Lane; Morrisons at Riverside
Northern rivers:
Great Yarmouth	Caister Road (moor at Marina Keys), ASDA at Breydon Bridge
Acle	end of Acle straight
Wroxham	junction Norwich/Salhouse roads (moor at Caen Meadow)
Coltishall	village centre (moor near lock)
Wayford Bridge	Stalham Road
Stalham	Tesco on by-pass
Ludham (Womack)	High Street (closed Sun)
Potter Heigham	Repps, on Yarmouth Road
